1967 Chevrolet Wagon for sale by Private Seller 1967 Chevrolet Chevy II RHD Wagon. Right Hand Drive Chevy II Station Wagon, fully documented, only one known in the United States. Very rare car built in Canada, all original unrestored, Marina Blue with blue interior. Original owner was a postman and the car was used on a rural mail route in the rustfree climate of Casper WY and was licensed in WY until 1978, it has 87,976 actual miles. The matching numbers engine has never been out of the car and it runs fine, I have pains-takenly detailed the engine in the car. Since 1978 the car has been in a climate controlled garage, Ive owned it since 1996, (third owner) Im a collector of rare Chevy II's and have had several over the years, but in my opinion, this is the absolute rarest of the rare. Also included is the original owners manual, warranty booklet with protecto plate and a California Car Cover brand car cover. The car is also listed for sale locally and nationally, we reserve the right to end the auction at any time due to local sale. Car was built in Oshawa Ontario Canada for export to the USA, fully documented by GM of Canada and only one known to be in the states. The RHD option was a $134.50 option, the only other factory options that the wagon has is front bumper guards and an automatic trans. It does not have power steering or brakes, or a/c, it is a plain jane bought for basic transportation. The car is also a radio and heater delete, but for the cold climate of WY, the dealer ordered and installed a heater and the controls are in the radio delete panel. There is no rust in the car with the exception of the driver side front floor pan, all the paint is original for the car except for the tailgate and front fenders. Right after I bought the car I replaced the tailgate because of a very minor rust spot on the outside skin, painted the gate to match with laquer and duplicated all thedecals just as it was on the old gate, I also replace the front fenders with an NOS pair because of a small rust issue at the bottom of both. So now as I noted, the only rust is the driver side floor pan. The original Marina blue paint still has a nice shine for 40 years of age on it, it does have some scratches here and there because this car was in service for several years delivering the mail and as you can see it has the normal driver's door scratches from a few mail box lids flipping down onto it. I have the original tailgate and fenders that will go with the car. The interior is also all original and in very nice condition with the exception of the driver side of the front seat having some seperations. The headliner is nice, as well as the door panels and rubber floor mat and original rear rubber cargo area mat. As you can see in the pictures, the dash is that of an early chevy II style that has been reversed, I guess it was easier to contiue using that style instead of redesigning the 66/67 dash for so few cars built.
