1970 marked the beginning of the Beautiful 2nd Generation Camaro`s. It turned out to be the lowest producing year of the F-Body line up due to the 1969 strike. This RS model was treated to many upgrades. The previous owner spent a ton of money building this beast. It features a 383 Stroker motor built by Owens Racing Engines of Pearland, Texas, with an Eagle crank, Eagle rods, SRP pistons, Comp Cam, Dart Pro One aluminum heads, Edelbrock aluminum intake, HEI SBC Pro Mag ignition, roller rockers, Hooker Super Comp coated headers, and dual large diameter exhaust. The front sub frame was powder coated and Moog steering and suspension pieces were added. The leaf springs, gas tank, brake lines, fuel lines, u joints, radiator, and power steering are all new. A brand new 4 wheel power disc brake set up was added with a new master cylinder and proportionate valve. The Muncie 4 speed transmission and 10 bolt rear end were rebuilt. The chassis turned out nice and looks good. 17 inch Boyd 5 spoke "Smoothie" wheels were added to complete the package. This bad boy also sports a brand new interior. The paint is show quality and has to be the most beautiful Dark Emerald Green we have ever seen. This car is powerful, detailed, fast, and fun! Financing, insurance, and delivery are available. |
