1970 Chevrolet Chevelle!!!The block is a 010 block which means it has a 5% nickle content making the bores a little smoother and thus the life of the engine longer. It has been bored .006" over and is a little larger than a regular 350 CID engine. The pistons are a flat top alloy, not cast iron, but tougher. The flat tops on them make the compression ratio about 10:1. The connecting rods are new as is the crankshaft. Every bearing has been replaced and plasti-guaged for the correct amount of clearance to ensure proper wear. The heads are good flowing heads and have had all the seats on the intake valves re-ground and the valves enlarged to 2.02" in diameter. The exhaust valves are 1.50" in diameter. The heads have been decked and vatted and all the gaskets are new. The springs are new as are the connecting rods, and brand new roller rockers have replaced the stock ones. The intake manifold is an Edelbrock, dual-plane high rise with a complementing Edelbrock 650cfm carb. It is a 4 barrel carb with manual secondaries and it istopped with an Edelbrock air cleaner, all chrome. The headers are Heddman and are 1 and 5/8" with long collectors allowing for optimum flow. The exaust is custom and is 2 and 1/4" all the way out the back through two Flowmaster 40 series mufflers, ending in chrome Chevelle tips (2 and 1/4" "H" pipe is included). The drive train goes through a completely rebuilt TH350 transmission with a 1500 rpm shift kit and a 1700 rpm stall converter. The kickdown cable is new as is the modulation valve and the fluid filter. And a custom tranny fluid coolant system has been added. The U-joints in the driveshaft have been replaced and the entire rear end has been rebuilt. The stock chunk has been replaced with an Auburn Limited slip diff with 3.55 gears. The crush sleeve and yoke have been replaced as have all the shims and they have been checkd for proper backlash. The gas tanlk is new and the undercarriage has been completely sanded down and repainted. The entire brake system has been replaced including the master cyclinder. They are 4 wheel drums, but they stop just as good. The water pump, power steering pump, alternater, fuel pump, radiator, evaporator, heater core, blower motor, fan and starter have all been replaced. The entire car was stripped down and sand blasted. There is NO RUST on this vehicle. The entire wiring system in this car ahs been replaced, every wire, all new connections. All of the weatherstripping on the car has been replaced, every piece. Every gasket and bushing, except the body bushings have been replaced. All of the grease fittings and front suspension pieces have been replaced. Every piece was taken of and sandblasted. The front shocks have been replaced. The front tires are brand new, and the tires in the back are wide stanced racing tires. The interior has been completely rebuilt. The interior was gutted and sandblasted with the exterior. The sound-deading and insulation has been replaced under the carpet; the dash cover has been replaced; the dash has been taken out and cleaned; the radio system has been upgraded and rewired; the headliner has been replaced, the side panels have all been taken off and cleaned and the window tracks have all been cleaned and greased; the seats have been taken out and cleaned; the rear dashed has been replaced with a custom wooden one; the speakers have been replaced with yellow ones that contrast to the black interior. The trunk has been sandblasted and recoated with splec-paint. It has a custom anti-theft system which is very old school and if you buy it I'll tell you, but it is not an alarm and it makes no noise.
