We do not expect finds of barns to come up in middle of high turn over metropolis as it is agriculturally inclined for building barns in country. Still it is happening happening more lately. We found another such at South Central in Los Angeles. It was Mercedes-Benz 1935 Caracciola 500K especially built for Rudolph Caraccioloa, the Silver Arrows racing driver. The picture here is of better days; after it was restored and shown on lawns at Pebble Beach concurs in late 1970s.

Barrett-Jackson Auctioneers will be selling the car at the Scottsdale, WestWorld, auction, at USA. This was the automobile which carried body of President to Air Force One after his assassination at Dallas on 22nd November in the year 1963. When JFK was dead, O’Neal Funeral Home was called upon for supplying the best casket that it had along with appropriate conveyance. Hearse then made a trip with the body of the President’s and First Lady from the Parkland Memorial Hospital to the Love Field, where the Air Force One was patiently waiting for transporting casket at Washington, DC.

There was a motorcade of yesteryear classic cars which was organized by transport department and district administration in Belgaum for the event of National Safety Week on Sunday. Both the car enthusiasts and onlookers were thrilled to watch the automobiles. Around 27 models of the vintage cars were included in the rally. The brightest point of this rally was red Impala Car which was made in year 1962. It was used by Bollywood actor, Amitabh Bachchan in his cult movie called ‘Don’. This car is presently owned by Sanjay Ghodavat, an industrialist based in Jaisingpur who brought the 1964 Minimoris model to this rally.

An event which will be held for one week by WA branch of Vauxhall Owners Club of Australia will have a lot of classic car lovers. About 80 of Bedford and Vauxhall Commercial vehicles which were made between the year 1908 and now will be displayed for 37th National Rally. The show has begun today (4th of January) at Swanleigh.
There are day trips planned for each day during the event and it includes the one which will be headed by the residents of Swan Valley – Hellen Selkirk and Jim Selkirk, and residents of Moora – Kaye Lewis and Frank Lewis will be leading one convor from the Swan Valley to the Gingin on 7th of January.

1968 Alfa Romeo Carabo is a concept car that is based on mechanicals that are race derived of 33 Stradale of last year. But this isn’t the only claim to fame of this car. This automobile is inspired by 2 of most iconic vehicles of last century.

Barrett-Jackson Auction Company, who are the host at “The World’s Greatest Collector Car Auctions” will be selling a part of history of John F. Kennedy at their forty first Annual Barrett-Jackson Auction from January 15 to 22 at WestWorld of Scottsdale.
Barrett-Jackson will be selling 1964 Cadillac Hearse (Lot #1293) on January 21, Saturday. It was a automobile which was used for transporting the body to President John F. Kennedy to Air Force One after assassination at Dallas. Sale of this historic piece follows the sale of ambulance in the year 2011 which was used for transporting the body of JFK from the Air Force One to Bethesda Naval Hospital. The world was watching when the ambulance was being sold in spite of unproved claims that it was just a naval ambulance.

It has been some time since any classic cars were seen at Goshen’s Historic Track. On October 2nd, Goshen Historic Track annual Classic Cars and Motorcycles Show showed about eighty nine automobiles in front of historic grand stand to benefit preservation of track. There is fine stone covering the track; it rained the night before but it didn’t have any effect on surface.
Kerry English, the organizer and CEO for Historic Track and Carl DuBois Orange County were thrilled at the turn out. A motorcyclists group rode up from the Fort Lee, N.J., for attending this show. Mike Aviles was riding up with the group and he took home the award for the Best of Show Bike.

We have written a lot of articles regarding where to buy classic cars from but a lot of you guys have asked me about the right time to buy classic car. There isn’t any strong and concrete rule regarding when to buy a classic car, it all depends on the opportunities you have and the car that is available.
I have a huge experience with cars over the past few years and I have noticed that there are two big factors which influence potential purchase – space and money. You should have enough money for buying and you also need to have enough space for parking the car. If these two things are in place then it all comes down to getting the right kinda deal.
