1901 Mercedes 35 HP – The First Impressive Mercedes

1901 Mercedes 35 HP – The First Impressive Mercedes

We won’t say that the automotive history began with 1901 Mercedes 35 HP, because there have been self-propelled vehicles in the market since 1775. But at the same time we wont neglect the significance of this classic from Mercedes in the automotive world. 1968-1976 Mercedes-Benz 250/280C/CE

The 1968-1976 Mercedes-Benz 250/280C/CE were derived from the square-lined “next-generation” sedan, which was first seen in the model year 1867 and were the sportiest among all the non-SL Mercedes models of this time. The key difference between the 1968-1976 Mercedes-Benz 250/280C/CE and the other cars of its league was a faintly reduced pillarless roof having 2-in-lower general height. The engine powering all the lines was the 6-cylinder engines, but the power for the 250C in US came from a 2.8 ltr engine for maintaining power in the face of a fresh new performance-play out emissions rules and federal safety. All the engines powering the Mercedes-Benz 250/280C/CE were fitted with Bosch electronic fuel injection, except for the twin carburetors 250C and the twin cam 280C. The...

    Mercedes-Benz Classic Cars: 280S & 280SL

Mercedes-Benz Classic Cars history is very interesting as the company was found in the year 1871 with only three people – Karl Benz, Gottlieb Daimler and Wilhelm Maybach. They had the capability to invent a vehicle with internal combustion and they were only about 60 miles away from each other. Karl was working in Manheim with a shop where he invented the first combustion vehicle in 1885. The vehicle was called Benz Patent Motorwagen which was equipped with three wheels and the first potent engine designed by Benz. Maybach and Daimler worked together for adopting a stagecoach so that they can fit the requirements of engine. In the year 1889, they launched a model with four-stroke engine with four wheels. In 1896, Wilhelm Maybach and Gottlieb Daimler launched the first automobile car called...
