Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai at UAE recently launched special service of licensing for few of rarest classic cars for this country. However, before numbers of special licensing are taken out, these cars must prove that they are 30 years or older by going through series of tests that are organized by RTA. UAE has about 3,000 classic cars & taking a look at the different reports, all are more than thirty years old. The sources confirm that 1st auction of rarest and oldest cars will be starting on 14th June, where the cars will get licenses. This event is organized by the RTA along with joint cooperation with the UAE Automobile & Touring Club. Enthusiasts of classic car will be making their way to Little Totham this Saturday as a lot of vintage cars descend on this village. Motorbike Rally & Little Totham Car takes place at Little Common, & is set for featuring in about seventy automobiles from 1930s to 1990s. These bikes and cars, will include 1937 Morris 8, 1969 MGB Roadster & 1960 Morris Minor, and they will be on the show from 11 am to 4 pm. It is Mecum auto auction @ State Fairgrounds, where above 2,000 classic cars will be made available, & the organizers say that value of the cars could be well above $60 million. The prices start from couple of thousand dollars and they go all the way up to 7 figures. This auction runs till Sunday. The tickets will cost you $15 at door.
