People living around Ridgecrest, California must have noticed that in the past few years the region has become a retreat for the classic vehicle owners. You may walk around the street of this area at any day or time; you will surely come across classic cars, motorcycles and cars running on the roads of this city. Moreover, majority of the vintage vehicles that you will see on the streets of Ridgecrest are maintained perfectly with renovations including custom paint jobs.

This automatically makes Ridgecrest a suitable place for organizing a classic car show. One of the most famous classic car shows will be hosted by the city this April. The show will take place on the 2nd of April, 2011. This annual car show is named as ‘Cool On April Fools Car Show’ and it is in its 3rd year. The show will include an exhibition of vintage cars at the Legion Post from 9am-5pm. The address of the place is 641West Inyokern Rd.

Dale Hilliard, the event coordinator has invited all the classic vehicle owners who own cars built in 1975 or even before that to take part in this event. Any person owning cars, pickup trucks, customs and street rods made in or before 1975 can enroll their vehicle for this Ridgecrest event. Hilliard has also invited people owning classic racing cars to be a part of this show.

The official judging sessions for the vintage vehicle participating in the event will take place from 1pm to 3pm. The winners of different categories will be receiving their respective trophies at a presentation ceremony starting from 4pm. According to sources, the 2011 edition of this classic car show will judge the participating vehicle in 17 categories. The most significant category out of these 17 is ‘best car of the show’. The participating vehicles will have to be registered by spending sums of $30 and $35. Registrations are accepted on the day of this event.

This classic car show will not be only about cars. People coming to the show will stay entertained with the BBQ fest occurring at the event area. They will be greeted with delicious foods. Music lovers will get to hear old melodies remixed by the DJ’s of the famous Lone Maverick Productions.
