Porsche Classic Cars is a German automobile manufacturing company which specializes in producing high-performance luxury vehicles located in Zuffenhausen, Stuttgart, Baden-Wurttemberg. The main subsidiary company of Porsche is Porsche AG, who is involved in manufacture and production of Porsche automobile line. The company has most of the shares in Volkswagen AG, a parent company of Volkswagen Group which also includes other luxury brands like Audi, Skoda, Volkswagen, SEAT, Bentley, Lamborghini and Bugatti. The company was found by Ferdinand Porsche in the year 1931 who was an Austrian engineer during the time of Austro-Hungarian Empire. Porsche also designed the first automobile of Volkswagen and at present company is involved in manufacturing vehicles like Cayenne Sport Utility Vehicles, 911 and Cayman and Boxster Sports Car.

In the year 2009, Volkswagen AG and Porsche Classic Cars will enter into an agreement, that both the companies will merge in 2011 to form Integrated Automotive Group. Porsche has also been awarded as the most prestigious automobile manufacturer by Luxury Institute in New York. Currently, the production lineup of Porsche includes Boxster roadster which is a sportscar, Cayman, a hardtop vehicle and Cayenne which is a midsize luxury sport utility vehicle. The luxury high-performance sedan/saloon, Panamera was manufactured and launched in the year 2009, while recently they have launched a model called spider version of Boxster.

There are lots of high-performance luxury models manufactured and launched by Porsche Classic Cars in the market which includes Porsche Carrera & Porsche Carrera 2.

Porsche Carrera is powered by new liquid cooled 3.4 liter engine with four valves per cylinder, dual overhead camshafts and fuel injection system which is good for producing 296 horsepower at 6800rpm. It comes with two different transmission choices such as Tiptronic five-speed and six-speed manual transmission. Porsche Carrera goes from 0 to 100km/hr in the time range of 5.2 seconds which is quite impressive at the top speed of 174mph.

The Porsche Carrera is equipped with side bucket leather seats, grand touring style interior with polished aluminium pieces and bits, keyless ignition, intuitive controls and retractable rear spoiler. The Carrera is available in three different models such as two-wheel drive coupe, C4 four-wheel drive and Cabriolet which is either available in two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive models. All models come with standard equipments and features which include dual side and front airbags, upgraded suspension set-up, air conditioning, power seats, sunroof, heated front seats, heated outside mirrors, rear window wiper, power windows, GPS system, central locking and cruise control.

Porsche Carrera 2 is equipped with 3.2 liter flat six-cylinder engine which is good for producing 285 horsepower. It comes with balloon spec tires and 16 inch wheels.
